[1 Sept 2011] Our paper “Modeling and Simulation of Service Composition in Opportunistic Networks” (U. Sadiq, M. Kumar, A. Passarella, M. Conti) is a candidate to the ACM MSWiM 2011 Best Paper Award! (message from chairs here).
[11 May 2011] Our paper “Characterising aggregate inter-contact times in heterogeneous opportunistic networks” (A. Passarella, M. Conti) won the IFIP Networking 2011 Best Paper Award! You can download it from here.

I’m a researcher in the Ubiquitous Internet Group of IIT-CNR in Pisa, led by Marco Conti.
Since 2006, I mostly work on opportunistic (delay tolerant) networks, within the Haggle and - more recently - Socialnets Projects.
