The WG supports conference organisation in its areas of interest. See the current scheduled events and past events for examples.

After (informal) agreement from the IFIP WG6.3 chair, fill in the Online IFIP Event Request Form. See here for further information. Mrs. Brigitte Brauneis (brigitte.brauneis@ifip.org) will also act as an event facilitator. She will help organizers to fill in the IFIP forms, to request loans, to pay fees, etc.

You will then be notified when the approval process is over.

Events organised in collaboration with WG6.3 must advertise this in the CFP of the event and on the event website (download the IFIP logo).

The TC6 handbook contains many useful information about the events categories (Open conference, working conference, workshop), the sponsorship and financial rules, etc.
