How to reach PISA


Pisa can be reached:


• Flying to the local International airport, Galileo Galilei (official web site) that is just one kilometer from the city. Pisa Airport is served by 22 airlines operating 360 weekly flights to 48 national and international destinations. Numerous companies offer charter flights to a number of European and non-European destinations. Delta Airlines has a non-stop flight to New York (JFK) four times a week.


• Flying to the Florence airport; then taking a bus or a taxi to the Florence train station, then travelling by train to Pisa (about 60 minutes).


• Taking a train to Pisa from the two main Italian international airports: Milano Malpensa (MPX) and Roma Fiumicino (FCO); you arrive in Italy through Milan or Rome airports and get a train connection to Pisa. (Official Italian Train Web Site).
