Networking is a conference of the IFIP Technical Committee on Communication Systems (TC6). Networking 2002 is the second edition of this conference -- the first edition was in Paris, May 2000.

Networking 2002 is organized by the Italian National Research Council (CNR) and is sponsored by the IFIP working groups Network and Internetwork Architectures (WG 6.2), Performance of Communication Systems (WG 6.3), and Wireless Communications (WG 6.8).

The program of the conference will be on five days and will include two tutorial days, the main conference (three days), and one-day thematic workshops.

The conference best paper and three student best papers will be award a prize by IFIP-TC6.
